Cascade Head Rainforest Trail Party

Come join Trailkeepers of Oregon as we begin work on the closed section of the Oregon Coast Trail at Cascade Head! A 2.3 mile section of trail at Cascade Head (part of the Oregon Coast Trail) has been closed for 11 years following major storm damage. Fairy Houses and Gnome Homes

Timber harvested from the Tillamook State Forest is used to construct homes for many Oregonians, but plenty of woodland residents live in dwellings made of other natural items. Using twigs, grasses, moss, rocks, and other things found in the forest, join our naturalists while we build unique fairy houses, gnome homes, or even toad huts for the creatures of the forest. Household Hazardous Waste & Styrofoam Collection

Tillamook County’s Solid Waste Department sponsors Household Hazardous Waste Collection so that residents of Tillamook County may safely dispose of unsafe materials from their homes. This event is for residential waste only.  Hours are strictly adhered to, and volume has been heavy necessitating potential waits in line. BUSINESSES must come on CEG (Business) collection days requiring an appointment and fees m ay apply. CEG dates are: March 1, 2019; May 31, 2019 and October 4, 2019.
