Reptile Man

North Tillamook Library presents one of our favorite shows, "Reptile Man!"   Richard “The Oregon Reptile Man” was bitten in 1970. Not literally, but by the bite of extreme curiosity concerning the natural world, and it’s seemingly infinite colors, patterns, and abilities in the reptile realm. Established in 1991, The Reptile Man utilizes over 60 exotic reptiles from around the world as educational ambassadors to nearly 500 organizations yearly.

Oceanside Tidepool Discovery Day

What amazing creatures are lurking at the water’s edge? Come out to Oceanside and see! Oregon State Parks, Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS staff and volunteers will be onsite in the tide pools helping visitors understand what is living along the coastal edge. Community education class meets Thursday evenings July 11, 18 and 25

Learn about the principal trees that you see in Tillamook County, but maybe not know much about.  Experience coastal forest ecology with a guided walk at Anderson Hill County Park.  Understand the Oregon's Forest Practices Act, what it requires and how to access information. Trees and forests are fun to learn about and study and they don't run or fly away like animals and birds do.

Cape Falcon Whale Hike
