Northwest musicians and fans have described Seattle singer-songwriter Allison Preisinger’s music as raw and honest. Her folk rock style of writing and performances provide a combination of the sincerity of an unplugged Eric Clapton with the melodic poetry of a solo Joni Mitchell.
Northwest rooted singer-songwriter Allison Preisinger merges her influences of nature, folk rock, city living, and relationships into acoustic folk that’s like visiting your best friend. Warm and inviting while forcing you to look at some of the tough stuff. With comparisons to Joni Mitchell, Jose Gonzalez, and Carole King, Allison can be found sharing her music in Seattle area coffee shops, listening rooms, house concerts and events.
Allison’s recently released third album, the Jade EP, is five acoustic folk songs recorded, mixed and mastered by Moe Provencher of MoZo at The Duplex in Seattle. Co-produced by Miranda Zickler of Rabbit Wilde, the album explores getting over what you thought was love, questioning where things are headed, having no control, and the reassurance that love is all around. Featuring fiddle by Chandra Johnson of Hot Damn Scandal, cello by Jillian Walker of Rabbit Wilde, percussion by Aimee Zoe of MoZo, backing vocals by Kyle Findley-Meier of The Sky Colony, Miranda Zickler of Rabbit Wilde and Jade .
